Freelance AI Developer – NRW – 3-12 Month Contract

I’m supporting an innovative AI company based in North Rhine-Westphalia, on the further development of their platform. We’re seeking a highly capable Freelance AI Developer with strong, hands-on experience in LangChain, MCP-Servers, and Agentic Workflows. This role is available immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of the AI platform using Python, React, and Next.js
• Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement LangChain pipelines and develop agentic workflows
• Work with MCP-Servers to support modular, scalable backend architecture
• Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and deployment automation

Requirements & Useful Skills

• Proven experience as an AI Developer, with strong skills in Python and modern web frameworks
• Deep expertise in LangChain, with demonstrated experience building agentic workflows
• Hands-on experience working with MCP-Servers or similar modular service frameworks
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Solid experience in React and Next.js for building responsive, performant front-ends
• Excellent communication in English (German is a plus)

Logistics

• Location: North Rhine-Westphalia (Hybrid working, on-site collaboration preferred)
• Contract: 3 Months (with extension)
• Start: Immediately
• Hours: Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week)
• Must have PR in Germany or Right to work in Europe
