Freelance Mechanical Project Engineer (German Speaking)

Job Description

We are looking for a freelance Mechanical Project Engineer to join a data center project in Berlin as part of the mechanical contractor team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee delivery of mechanical packages (HVAC, piping, cooling systems, etc.)
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to meet project milestones
• Support commissioning and quality control processes
• Provide technical expertise to resolve site or design issues

Requirements:

• Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
• Experience with data centers or other large-scale technical projects (pharma, semiconductor, industrial, etc.)
• Strong background in mechanical systems within construction projects
• Availability for freelance assignment in Berlin
