Stellenbeschreibung:

We are seeking a freelance UX/UI Designer

with strong expertise in multi-platform product design (Smart TV, mobile, tablet, web) and a solid understanding of the video streaming and e-commerce domain. The role involves converting wireframes into developer-ready, high-fidelity designs in Figma, optimized for responsive layouts and complex interaction patterns.

You will work closely with our product team and directly with our client, a leading Arab streaming service, to deliver designs that are both aesthetically compelling and technically robust for in-stream shopping features.


Responsibilities
• Convert wireframes into pixel-perfect, final designs in Figma that adhere to established design systems and are ready for handoff to developers.
• Ensure design consistency and responsiveness across Smart TVs, iOS/Android apps, tablets, and modern web browsers.
• Collaborate with developers to validate feasibility and streamline implementation (e.g., using design tokens, responsive breakpoints, JSON schemas where relevant).
• Anticipate platform-specific UX considerations (e.g., remote control navigation for Smart TVs, touch gestures on mobile, lean-back vs. lean-forward user behavior).
• Contribute to usability testing and iteration cycles where applicable.
• Maintain alignment with client’s brand and regional audience needs while ensuring scalability across markets.



Requirements
• Demonstrable experience designing for Smart TVs (mandatory), plus mobile, tablet, and web platforms.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping, and design systems).
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work in video streaming, e-commerce, or related consumer-facing products.
• Fluent in English; working knowledge of Arabic and/or German is a strong plus.
• Strong technical literacy: understanding of responsive design, grid systems, design tokens, and ability to structure handoff files for efficient developer implementation.
• Bonus: Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and designing for internationalized/localized interfaces.
