About Us

Galloperly is a niche e-commerce brand creating custom-engraved jewelry for horse owners. We turn customers’ horse photos into meaningful keepsakes and treat every order with care.


The Role (Part-time, Daily)

We’re looking for a freelancer to help us process daily orders: edit images for engraving, keep files organized, and handle light customer support. (Optional: light influencer outreach.)
Estimated workload: ~20–120 minutes per day (varies with order volume; may grow).


Key Responsibilities


• Image editing (core): Remove backgrounds (mainly with Canva Background Remover), crop/center horse heads, clean edges/fix small errors, adjust brightness/contrast, and export to the correct size/format and filename (e.g., Order-1234_HorseName.png).
• File organization: Rename to our standard, place in the correct folder structure, upload to Google Drive/OneDrive.
• Customer messaging: If a photo isn’t usable, email the customer (using our Notion templates) to request a replacement.
• Customer support: Answer simple product/photo questions, shipping ETAs, and after-sales requests per policy. Track shipments in Trackingmore/Shopify and escalate exceptions.
• (Optional) Influencer outreach: shortlist micro-creators, send outreach, and track responses.


Tools We Use

Canva, Photoshop, Google Drive, OneDrive, Shopify, Trackingmore, Notion, ChatGPT, Email.
Communication on Upwork (and other messengers after the contract starts, if helpful).


Must-Have Qualifications


• Excellent written English (clear, polite, error-free; B2+).
• Reliability & responsiveness: you can check in and complete tasks every day.
• Attention to detail: you spot typos, mismatched order info, and low-quality photos.
• Hands-on with tools: Shopify basics, Google Drive, Canva (Photoshop a plus).
• Customer service experience (email/chat) with a friendly, solution-oriented tone.
• Confidential handling of customer data (GDPR-aware).
Nice to have: e-commerce fulfillment experience, light retouching (healing/cleanup), interest in equestrian topics, basic influencer outreach.


Schedule & Communication


• Flexible schedule (no fixed hours): You choose when to work, as long as targets are met.
• Daily sweep: Clear new orders and customer messages within 24 hours of assignment (aim for same-day during your window).
• Weekend: Quick weekend glance for urgent items. If unavailable, give advance notice.
• Time zone: Some overlap with Europe/Berlin (UTC+2) is helpful but not required.
• Status: Update Notion task status; leave a short note only when there’s a blocker.
• SLA targets:
  • New orders → processed by next day
  • Customer emails → same day within your window
  • Image replacement requests → sent within 24h of detecting an issue
• Availability: Tell us ahead of holidays or more than 24h downtime.


Compensation


• Hourly via Upwork. Please include your rate.
• Independent contractor via Upwork (not employment).
