With tess (gotess.de), we have developed the first AI agent for SMB accounting. It helps accounting firms tackle labor shortage while enabling their clients, SMBs, to bring back order to the daily chaos of payments and receipts. We operate at the intersection of AI and Fintech and are growing extremely fast: already more than 90 accounting firms are leveraging our technology for hundreds of their SME clients.

What you'll do:

• Frontend Development: Build and ship user‑facing features with modern frameworks, ensuring responsive and accessible design.
• Customer‑Centric UI/UX Engineering: Implement UI/UX improvements that directly address real user needs and enhance usability.
• Product Collaboration: Work closely with Product & Design to translate user feedback and wireframes into seamless frontend experiences.
• Quality & Testing: Do end‑to‑end tests, debug issues, and continuously improve frontend performance.

Your Profile:

• Frontend experience: you have worked on a wide range of frontend projects.
• Tech Stack: you’re comfortable with modern programming languages.
• Hands‑On Mentality: you love building things and solving real problems.
• Growth Mindset & Ownership: you take initiative and love shipping code with a wow effect.
• Language Skills: fluent in English (German is not required).
• Availability: full‑time internship preferred, but working student also possible.
