Project Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Full-Stack Developer to build the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for our new travel tech platform, "ExtendMyTrip.com." Our platform helps independent professionals and corporate employees seamlessly combine business travel with leisure, offering a unique, multi-step booking flow for events, hotels, and flights.

This is not a package tour; it is a user-centric platform that empowers individuals to craft their own flexible itineraries. We have a clear vision, detailed documentation, and a structured milestone plan ready to go. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem-solver who can take ownership of the project and work closely with us to bring our vision to life.

The current Mock-MVP was developed for local deployment and is highly unflexible. Either this local Mock-MVP can be continued to deliver the solution or the project can be started from scratch with the mock-mvp as a template.


Key Features of the MVP:
• User-Guided Booking Flow: A multi-step interface for finding and selecting events, then searching for and booking corresponding accommodation and flights.
• Event & Content Management: A backend UI for manually curating and publishing events and "Recommended Trip" packages. Events will be managed with a status (active, inactive).
• Account System (Free Tier): User registration and login functionality for a "Basic" (free) account.
• Saved Trips: The ability for users to save one trip to their dashboard from the summary page.
• Affiliate Integrations: Integration with external APIs (e.g., Booking.com for hotels) to fetch and display dynamic content and generate affiliate booking links.
• Scalable Architecture: Building a clean, modular codebase that is ready for future features, including a Pro subscription model, automated data scraping, and a dedicated Business Account tier.


Technical Stack:
We are open to a developer's recommendations on the best tech stack for a scalable MVP. Our suggestions is n8n workflows for scraping, API calls and database calls, Supabase for DB Management, Wordpress for CMS integration (or other CMS option). The current project architecture uses Next.js, Express, and PostgreSQL, with deployment planned on Vercel and Render. Experience with these technologies is preferred, but we are most interested in a developer who can justify their choices and build a maintainable, high-quality product.


Project Deliverables:
This project is structured into three clear milestones, each with specific deliverables to ensure a working, incremental product. We will work with the selected freelancer to finalize the scope and budget for each milestone.
