Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer with expert-level PHP/WordPress expertise and a proven track record of delivering exceptional, pixel-perfect, and scalable solutions.
In this role, your success will be measured by your ability to:
• Take ownership of tasks from start to finish
• Adhere closely to specifications and deliverables
• Execute thorough QA and testing before submission
• Consistently hit milestones and deadlines without need for constant oversight


Your Responsibilities:

• ✅ Full-Stack Development: Build and optimize WordPress-based plugins, features, and integrations
• ✅ Quality Assurance (QA): Ensure code meets specifications, is fully tested, and adheres to high-quality standards
• ✅ Problem Solving: Tackle complex backend and frontend challenges with creativity and precision
• ✅ Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers and other developers to ship features efficiently
• ✅ Ownership: Manage your own development workflow and contribute proactively to the team’s success

This role is ideal for someone who can effectively bridge high-level coding, team management, and self motivation.



Required Backend Technologies:
• PHP 7+ (OOP, design patterns, strict typing)
• WordPress Core / Custom Plugins / Multisite
• MySQL, Redis, Memcached
• Twig templating
• Advanced Custom Fields
• Third-party API integrations


Required Frontend Technologies:
• HTML5/CSS3 (SASS, BEM)
• JavaScript (ES5, vanilla, jQuery)
• Twig.js


Required Tools & Workflow:
• Git, Composer, Bower, Grunt, npm
• Fully documented tasks with UX/UI mockups
• Emphasis on clean, efficient, and well-documented code


Required Experience:
• Fluent in English
• 8+ years of full-stack web development experience (PHP/JS)
• Proven expertise in WordPress development (custom plugins, scaling, optimization)
• Detail-oriented, thorough, and uncompromising when it comes to QA
• A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and takes full ownership of assigned work
• Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
• Passionate about building scalable, high-performance solutions


Required AI Knowledge & Application:

We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled in development but also forward-thinking with AI. You should have a solid understanding of how AI is shaping modern development, where it’s headed, and, most importantly, how you’re already leveraging AI tools in your day-to-day workflow to boost efficiency, quality, and outcomes.



Nice to Have:
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks
• Familiarity with DevOps/cloud infrastructure


Location & Availability:
• Fully remote
• Must overlap at least 4 hours/day with EST/PST


Compensation:

$30 - $40 USD/hr based on experience

Possible PTO, paid holidays, and health benefits (depending on region and contractor status)
