Job Description

As part of the AIT Department, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Execute the thermal vacuum (TVAC) test campaign in a shift.
• Execute the calibration and characterisation (C&C) campaign in the shift, maintain and improve test procedures, and critically assess the test results.
• Analyse and correlate events to their possible root causes, and find pragmatic solutions to cope with time pressure without compromising the flight hardware.
• Exchange with the project teams to provide test strategies that balance quality, time and cost.
• Participate in non‑conformances and support investigations, adhering to company quality standards.
• Work in shifts over several months: 3 days early (07:00–15:00), 3 days late (15:00–23:00), 3 days night (23:00–07:00), and 3–4 days free.

Qualifications

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Embedded Systems.
• Professional experience in aerospace engineering of at least 2 years.
• Experience with space standards (ECSS) is a plus.
• Experience with testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of MS‑Office.
• Comfortable with network management.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.
• Experience with a central checkout system, including SCOS2k databases and CCSDS/Packet Utilisation Standard, is a plus.
• Telecommand and telemetry management is a plus.
