Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of navigation signals processing on G2G satellites
  • Implementation of mathematical models, algorithms, and data‑analysis tools, e.g. for:
    • Digital and analogue signal processing of multiplexed CDMA signals in navigation satellites
    • Parametric performance assessment of signals and satellite characteristics
    • Performance evaluation of signal distortions due to linear/non‑linear signal distortions, interference, multipath, etc.
    • Representative signal processing within GNSS receivers (incl. sensor fusion)
    • Performance evaluation of GNSS receiver measurements, etc.
  • Support the implementation of navigation signal quality and performance monitoring algorithms
  • Support the verification of G2G satellite payload navigation signals
  • Perform post‑processing, trending and assessment of measurement dataSupport trade‑off analysis and modelling of measurements
  • Contribute to non‑conformance resolution and support to Non‑conformance Review Board (NRB) meetings
  • Present and discuss results in front of national and international customers

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • University Master degree in Navigation / Electrical Engineering / Communication Techniques / Telecommunications / Signal Processing / Physics or equivalent
  • Solid professional experience of approximately 7‑10 years, preferably in a connected field
  • Solid and proven experience in complex digital signal processing, ideally for broadband modulated signals and on signal distortion aspects
  • Solid and proven experience in GNSS signal design and analysis
  • Demonstrated strong ability to analyse complex technical problems and find innovative solutions
  • Strong skills in rapid and clean engineering software generation and usage (Matlab and/or C/C++)
  • Readiness to handle confidential data
  • Skills for clear and efficient communication in spoken and written English
  • Capability to work in an international team and with international customers (e.g. ESA, EC, EUSPA) on European/international projects
  • Flexibility to work in different European locations with our partners
