Game Developer

We are looking for an experienced game developer to help bring Empires & Bloodlines to life — a hybrid Gacha RPG featuring:

• Species-based bases with unique research and visuals
• An expansive world map with alliances, seasonal resets, and resource control
• A deep breeding system for creating unique hybrid heroes with genetic traits
• A comprehensive social suite including global chat with translation, private/group chats, Discord integration, and even a marriage system



The ideal candidate should have a passion for RPGs, strong knowledge of Gacha mechanics, and experience with Unity (URP, mobile optimization, Addressables). You will collaborate closely with our design team and follow a clear pitch deck with mockups, feature outlines, and a roadmap.




Responsibilities:

• Implement core combat (6v6 auto-battler with tactical skills)
• Develop base-building systems tied to species progression
• Build the breeding UI & genetic logic (dominant/recessive traits, mutations)
• Integrate chat systems (real-time, translation, Discord bridge)
• Support backend communication (PlayFab/Firebase/custom APIs)
• Ensure smooth performance across iOS and Android



Requirements:

• Proven experience with Unity game development (preferably mobile RPGs)
• Understanding of Gacha design & monetization loops
• Experience with multiplayer, chat, or backend integration
• Strong sense of UI/UX for player engagement
• Ability to work in milestones and agile collaboration



Nice to Have:

• Experience with PlayFab, Firebase, or custom backend services
• Prior work on Gacha RPGs, MMO features, or alliance-based systems
• Familiarity with chat translation APIs and/or Discord bot integrations
