Overview

German Game Linguist - Join Us in Barcelona at Keywords Studios. This is a full-time, permanent role, fully onsite in our Barcelona studio located at Carrer de la Diputació, 280, 08009 Barcelona. Relocation support is available for candidates moving from abroad.

Responsibilities

• Translate, review, and polish in-game and non-in-game content from English into German, maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Own the linguistic quality of your work, ensuring every line sounds natural, engaging, and true to the game world.
• Collaborate closely with fellow linguists to deliver consistent and player-friendly translations.

Requirements

• Native-level German speaker (a must).
• A genuine passion for video games and storytelling.
• Background in linguistics, translation, or copywriting — or equivalent experience.
• Excellent German writing style with strong English skills.
• Self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Collaborative spirit with strong interpersonal skills.
