This Call Offers Up To 12 Fully Funded PhD Positions Within a Structured Doctoral Training Programme. The CGA Brings Together 49 Interdisciplinary Research Groups, Providing Access To a Wide Spectrum Of Expertise And State-of-the-art Technologies. Students Benefit From
– Initial work contracts of at least three years, with competitive remuneration based on the German TV-L E13 scale (65%) or equivalent Max Planck Society contracts.
– Dedicated academic guidance from thesis advisory committees.
– Comprehensive training, including methodology and soft skills courses, career mentoring, and coaching.
– Annual conference travel grants.
– Intensive support for international students in administrative matters.

Candidate Profile

– An MSc or equivalent degree in Biology, Cell/Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Genetics, Medical Biology, Translational Medicine, or closely related fields.
