As Global Commodity Manager (f/m/d) IT Infrastructure , you will take a key role in strategically managing and optimizing global infrastructure services, driving innovation and efficiency across the entire organization. You’ll create an impact by

  • Leading and managing global infrastructure demands and projects, ensuring alignment with Siemens’ strategic technology roadmap and business objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with global stakeholders, internal customers and suppliers to achieve common goals and foster collaboration.
  • Driving cost optimization and productivity initiatives across infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Ensuring process excellence, scalability and efficiency by continuously improving procurement standards and methodologies.
  • Exploring and implementing innovative technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to drive digital transformation in infrastructure services.
  • Monitoring and communicating performance metrics and results, ensuring transparency and alignment across the global stakeholder community.

This Is How You’ll Win Us Over

  • Education: University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Many years of relevant professional experience in Information Technology, Procurement, Sales, or Consulting, ideally with a focus on IT infrastructure.
    • Deep expertise in infrastructure technologies such as networking, data centers, cybersecurity, system management and cloud services.
    • Proven experience in AI driven projects and implementing innovative technology solutions.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing productivity and cost optimization measures within complex global environments.
    • Strong analytical, strategic and conceptual skills, paired with excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
  • Ways of working:
    • Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through influence.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering trust and teamwork across international and intercultural teams in a matrix organization.
    • Passion for innovation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
  • Languages: Business-fluent English required; German and other languages are an advantage.
