This role sits within ABB's Robotics business. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. Responsibilities

  • In this Global ABB Robotics role you will ensure effective collaboration between Finance and Sustainability in a context of integration of sustainability topics into broader reporting and performance management.
  • Lead coordination between Finance and Sustainability to integrate sustainability metrics into reporting, planning, and performance management processes.
  • Oversee all sustainability reporting activities for the Robotics business, ensuring compliance with ABB Corporate requirements, regulatory frameworks (e.g., EU Taxonomy, CSRD/ESRS), and smooth execution during the spin-off transition.
  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve sustainability reporting processes — including timelines, roles (RACI), templates, and data validation — ensuring accurate, auditable, and timely submissions.
  • Build and maintain sustainability dashboards, KPIs, and regular executive reports, embedding sustainability data into budgeting, forecasting, and investment processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, group policies, and evolving regulatory requirements, while supporting teams across functions with methodology, data quality, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance with a focus on Sustainability and/or Governance (e.g., relevant courses or thesis).
  • 2–5 years of experience in sustainability or financial reporting, audit, or compliance, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as EU Taxonomy, CSRD, and ESRS.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new reporting processes, tools, and methodologies in complex, international organizations.
  • Strong analytical, structured, and interdisciplinary problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and networking abilities across diverse global stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel) and experienced with tools such as Abacus Analyzer and Power BI.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
