Our client, a fast-growing leader in renewable energy and energy storage technologies, is seeking a Global Key Account Manager to drive strategic growth with major international customers. This role will oversee end-to-end account management, from strengthening executive relationships to growing market share and building long-term partnerships.

The successful candidate will work closely with regional sales teams and internal stakeholders to deliver short-term business targets while establishing a foundation for sustainable global growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key global customers.
  • Grow the sales pipeline and expand customer share-of-wallet in collaboration with regional sales teams.
  • Define and execute strategic account plans that align with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
  • Gain deep insight into customer business models, focus markets, and decision-making structures.
  • Act as the primary customer interface for senior-level engagement, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer and market requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of sales experience within the renewable energy sector, including 5+ years in key account management.
  • Strong knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) markets, technologies, and customer ecosystems.
  • Established network of industry contacts among developers, investors, and energy companies.
  • Proven track record of developing global accounts and achieving growth targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience working effectively with multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
  • Results-driven with strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
