Your Tasks

We are seeking a strategic Global Trading and ITAD Manager to oversee and expand our international recommerce trading and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) business for used electronic devices. In this pivotal role, you will manage all aspects of global trading operations, including sourcing, sales, and compliance, while driving the growth of our ITAD services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in global trading and/or ITAD, preferably within the recommerce or electronics industry.

• Develop and implement global trading strategies for the recommerce sector, focusing on used devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and related technology.
• Manage the entire trading cycle, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, pricing, and logistics.
• Oversee and grow the ITAD business, ensuring secure, environmentally compliant handling, refurbishment, and resale of IT assets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and key partners across global markets.
• Monitor international market trends, supply/demand dynamics, and regulatory changes to optimize opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, compliance, sales, finance) to ensure seamless trade flow and order fulfillment.
• Drive process improvements and digitalization initiatives to enhance efficiency and transparency in trading and ITAD operations.
• Prepare and present regular performance and market analysis reports to senior management, including actionable insights.

You will report directly to the Vice President of Mobility.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in international trading and/or IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) of used electronic devices.
• Strong understanding of the electronic device lifecycle, pricing, and market dynamics in recommerce.
• Proven ability to develop business, and manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic and commercial mindset with a focus on innovation and business growth.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and operate effectively in international environments.
• Sound understanding of profitability calculations and financial metrics.
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus, along with strong interpersonal skills.
