Overview

Head of Agile Delivery Unit (m/f/d) at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE . This role manages delivery execution across technology, product, and business functions, leading Delivery Managers and Project Managers. The position is hybrid, with a highly remote model. The contractually agreed place of work will be Unterföhring near Munich or Berlin. Possible travel costs to the place of work will not be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery management, ensuring predictable and efficient execution across technology, product, and business functions.
• Manage, mentor, and grow Delivery Managers, IT Project Managers, and Project Managers.
• Build leadership capability and foster accountability within the unit.
• Oversee cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Track and report delivery health, identify risks, and improve reporting practices.
• Implement and maintain delivery frameworks, governance, and portfolio practices within the unit.
• Redesign and improve team rituals (e.g. standups, retros, check-ins) to strengthen delivery effectiveness.
• Remain hands‑on in critical situations, resolving challenges, supporting complex initiatives, and leading by example.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in program, project, or delivery management in complex organizations.
• Proven track record in scaling delivery across multiple teams and programs.
• Experience designing and implementing delivery models from scratch, especially in environments with broken, absent, or misaligned SDLCs.
• Strong leadership, people development, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on mindset with excellent communication skills in English and German.
