We are looking for a Databricks Tech Lead to join our growing Data team. This role is key to ensuring the design and implementation of data engineering solutions on the Databricks platform, while providing leadership for a team of data engineers and analysts.

Leadership

• Lead a team of data engineers, data scientists, and developers working on the Databricks platform.
• Implement good development practices and ensure code quality.

Design and architecture

• Design and implement technical solutions on Databricks to meet the needs of business teams (data analytics, data science, etc.).
• Define scalable and high-performance architectures for data ingestion, processing, and analysis.
• Work closely with architects, application teams, and business teams to define appropriate solutions.
• Develop data pipelines and data processing workflows in Databricks.
• Ensure the integration of solutions with other tools and systems (databases, storage systems, BI tools, etc.).
• Participate in the development of dashboards in Power BI.

Performance optimization

• Identify and resolve performance issues in data flows and architecture.
• Implement cost optimization mechanisms related to the use of the Databricks platform.

What we are looking for :

• Expertise in Databricks, including the implementation and optimization of data pipelines.
• Very good command of Python and SQL programming languages.
• Experience developing workflows with Apache Spark and using Azure tools associated with Databricks.
• Proficiency in data management systems (relational and NoSQL databases).
• Good understanding of business issues and ability to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Skills in analyzing and processing large amounts of data.
