As the Head of Data Science, you will lead the strategic direction of our data science initiatives, driving innovation and delivering actionable insights that shape product development, customer experience, and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data & AI experts, across various technology and project delivery topics - NLP, Recommender Systems, GenAI, etc
• Define and execute the data science roadmap aligned with business goals and product strategy
• Architect scalable machine learning solutions and oversee their deployment into production environments
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate complex data into strategic insights and impactful solutions
• Ensure ethical AI practices, data privacy, and model governance across all initiatives
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance data capabilities and performance

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modelling, and data mining techniques
• Strong proficiency in Python and data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps frameworks
• Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Solid grasp of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
