    MagicScout is seeking an experienced Head of Digital Marketing to join their growing team.


    About us
    MagicScout is building the future of youth football.
    Think LinkedIn meets Instagram for players aged 13–21. A platform where talent gets discovered, supporters become superfans, and scouts find the next breakout star.

    Job Purpose
    As Head of Digital Marketing, you will own MagicScout’s full marketing and brand strategy from the ground up — driving pre-launch campaigns, launch execution, and ongoing growth. You will build the brand, grow our community to 100,000+ subscribers, and lead a lean, distributed team of creators, interns, and partners. This role is for a builder: part strategist, part operator, and part storyteller.

    Roles & Responsibilities
    • Strategy & Growth
      • Define and execute launch and growth strategies across digital, social, and community channels.
      • Translate business goals into quarterly OKRs and scrappy action plans.
      • Own budget and media plan; optimize ROI on every dollar spent.

    • Content & Community
      • Lead editorial calendar; produce and commission interviews, reels, features, and highlight campaigns.
      • Launch ambassador and scout programs to generate UGC and player showcases.
      • Act as brand storyteller — across social, press, and partnerships.

    • Acquisition & Performance Marketing
      • Run paid acquisition campaigns (Meta, Google, TikTok).
      • Build creator partnerships and optimize funnel from reach → clicks → signups → active users.
      • Track, test, and improve acquisition cost, conversion, and retention metrics.

    • Partnerships & PR
      • Forge partnerships with academies, clubs, coaches, media, and influencers.
      • Prepare media kits, PR releases, and represent MagicScout externally when needed.

    • Team & Execution
      • Recruit, mentor, and manage a global network of interns, creators, and vendors.
      • Roll up your sleeves: from editing TikToks to pitching media — you’ll do what it takes to grow.

    Requirements
    • 5–8+ years in marketing, growth, or sports media (startup experience a big plus).
    • Proven track record of growing social channels from scratch.
    • Strong grasp of football ecosystem (players, scouts, coaches, agents, media).
    • Hands-on experience with paid ads, analytics tools (GA4, social dashboards), and creator collaborations.
    • Startup mindset: adaptable, resourceful, and biased toward action.
    • Passion for football, community-building, and storytelling.
    • Bonus: existing relationships with football influencers, journalists, or scouts.
