    Why this role

    At Evolve, we’re scaling a high‑performing Center of Excellence (CoE) for Managed Finance. We’re looking for a senior leader to head our CoE in Poland and act as Chief of Staff to the Managed Finance leadership. You will own service delivery across Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) and Record‑to‑Report (R2R), drive transformation & automation, and build a culture of operational excellence measured through clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    Your 90‑day impact

    • Establish a clear operating model for our CoE (governance, roles, cadence, dashboards) and stabilize delivery service for client portfolios.

    • Align end‑to‑end processes (P2P/O2C/R2R) and define baselines for cycle time, first‑pass‑yield, and backlog; launch a corrective action plan for hotspots.

    • Set up leadership routines (Site Review, Tower Reviews, Incident/Escalation, Monthly Business Review) and publish the CoE Playbook.

    What you’ll do

    • Lead the CoE Poland (site leadership): Run daily operations across P2P/O2C/R2R towers; manage capacity & skills; ensure SLA adherence and customer satisfaction.

    • Service delivery & controls: Implement standard work, internal controls and audit‑ready documentation; ensure compliance including European Union Value Added Tax (EU VAT) touchpoints and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as German GAAP (HGB) interfaces.

    • Transformation & automation: Own the roadmap for digitization (e.g., Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Power Platform, e‑invoicing/Peppol, harmonize templates, and reduce exceptions.

    • Stakeholder management: Act as primary interface for client CFOs, Finance Directors and internal leaders; drive Service Reviews and Root‑Cause/Countermeasure sessions.

    • Talent & culture: Build, coach and scale a high‑performing, multilingual team; embed a zero-defect and continuous-improvement mindset.

    • Systems & data: Oversee Microsoft Business Central and Evolve Platform process execution and integration; sponsor data quality, master‑data governance and reporting (Power BI).

    • Budget & planning: Own CoE financials (capacity plan, productivity, cost‑to‑serve), and support portfolio planning with the leadership team.

    • Travel: Be regularly on‑site in Poland (approx. 20–30%) to lead teams, meet stakeholders, and support go‑lives in all places in Germany.

    What you’ll bring (must‑haves)

    • 5+ years in finance shared services/Global Business Services (GBS) with 4+ years in site/tower leadership across P2P/O2C/R2R.

    • Strong process expertise (invoice to pay, order to cash, closing & controls), plus solid accounting/financial literacy.

    • Proven track record in building or scaling an SSC/CoE (governance, KPIs/SLAs, standardization, knowledge management).

    • Hands‑on with Microsoft Business Central (or comparable ERP), Microsoft 365 (M365) collaboration, and automation basics (e.g., RPA/Power Platform).

    • Change leadership, executive stakeholder management, and crisp communication in English (C1); German (B2+) and Polish (B1+) are assets.

    • Willingness to travel between Rostock and Poland.

    Nice to have

    • Experience with ISO‑aligned quality & controls (e.g., ISO 9001), Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), and service‑management practices (ITIL/Lean Six Sigma).

    • Knowledge of e‑invoicing frameworks (Peppol) and audit/regulatory interactions.

    • Exposure to Power BI analytics, process mining and data governance.
