Head of Finance | Fast-Growth B2B SaaS Company | Remote

Role Overview:

We are leading the search for a Head of Finance who will shape and scale the finance function, translating financial strategy into a data-driven, high-performing business. You’ll be responsible for everything from core finance operations and commercial reporting to strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives - partnering closely with the leadership team to guide growth, influence big decisions, and ensure the company is future-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Operations

• Own the end-to-end finance function, including monthly close, audits, treasury, tax, and controls.
• Ensure best-in-class processes are in place to support scaling international operations.
• Oversee cash management and maintain strong working capital discipline.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and inspire the finance team to deliver high-quality output across accounting, FP&A, and operations.
• Build scalable structures, processes, and systems aligned with rapid growth.

Commercial & Reporting

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Track and report SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn) and ensure they are embedded into decision-making.
• Deliver clear and compelling financial reporting for the Board and investors.

Strategic Finance & Business Partnering

• Act as a partner to the leadership team on pricing, go-to-market strategy, compensation design, and international expansion.
• Guide capital allocation and manage the company’s cash runway.
• Play an active role in fundraising and investor relations.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Oversee adjacent areas such as compliance, insurance, contracts, and reward.
• Drive financial literacy across the wider business through transparent and engaging communications.

What We Need to See (Essential):

• Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven track record leading finance in high-growth SaaS or B2B software companies.
• Experience in VC-backed or PE-backed scale-up environments.
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and their application to strategic decision-making.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to switch seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and investors.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
• Willingness to work in a remote-first environment

What We’d Like to See (Non-Essential):

• Previous involvement in international expansion and cross-border operations.
• Experience with pricing projects or commercial model design.

Location: Fully Remote
Start Date: ASAP (can wait a 3 month notice period)
Compensation Package: £120,000 – £150,000 + bonus + equity
