What You Will Work On
As the Head of Operations – Germany, you will oversee all operational activities within the region, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality medical assistance and alignment with Crisis24’s global standards.
- Operational Leadership: Lead the regional Global Operations Centre team (Medical Managers, Medical Specialists, and Global Operations Coordinators), ensuring operational excellence and service consistency
- Medical Operations Management: Provide informed medical and operational decisions, oversee patient cases and medical evacuations, and coordinate risk assessments for travel and high-threat locations
- Quality & Compliance: Uphold quality standards, ensure adherence to global SOPs, and drive continuous operational improvement
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff to support professional growth, performance, and engagement
- Operational Efficiency: Manage technology platforms, call-handling systems, and operational processes to deliver efficient, cost-aware solutions
- Client & Commercial Support: Represent Medical Operations in internal and external meetings, contributing subject matter expertise and strengthening client relationships
- Global Collaboration: Partner closely with regional and global counterparts to maintain seamless 24/7 coverage and ensure operational continuity worldwide

What You Will Bring
- Fluency in both English and German (minimum C1 level, written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Several years of experience in themedical) assistance or medical service sector, with proven competence in managing critical and complex situations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar operational environment, with success in leading teams to excellence.
- Strong ability to engage, motivate, and retain employees, supported by exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Expertise in medical case management, including evacuations and inpatient coordination.
- Experience working in technology-driven, process-oriented environments.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other Crisis24 locations as needed.
- Flexibility to support on-call or emergency operations outside of standard working hours as part of a global 24/7 operation.
