    HR Director Job Description
    About Us
    At act digital we are a leading group specializing in cybersecurity and software development, operating in 12 countries. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced and versatile HR Director to lead our German HR operations and support our teams in Munich and across the country.

    Your Role
    As HR Director, you will oversee all human resources functions in Munich - Germany, acting as a strategic partner to local leadership while ensuring operational excellence. You will manage the full HR spectrum, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, legal compliance, and organizational development.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and implement HR strategy in alignment with the Group’s global vision and local business needs
    • Oversee all HR operations in Germany: payroll coordination, labor law compliance, contracts, internal policies
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for key roles across the German business
    • Provide guidance to managers on performance management, organizational changes, and talent development
    • Be the first point of contact for employees on HR matters, ensuring a positive employee experience
    • Liaise with external partners (law firms, payroll providers, consultants) when needed
    • Support change management, organizational structuring, and HR project deployment
    • Ensure HR reporting and analytics for local and group-level stakeholders
    • Represent the company in discussions with employee representatives if applicable

    Your Profile
    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • At least 5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HRBP role, ideally in a fast-paced, international environment
    • Proven experience in recruitment, labor law, and HR project management
    • Strong understanding of German labor law and HR practices
    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Fluent in German and English (mandatory)
    • Experience in the tech/IT industry is a plus
