The German market will play a key role in this expansion – and this is your opportunity to shape the brand from day one. We are currently seeking a
Head of Paid Media (m/w/d)
who will report to the Marketing Director Germany of the parent company and take full ownership of local paid media and PR strategy and execution. As the first local marketing hire on the ground for this specific new brand, you will lay the foundation for scalable media operations and as a perspective, you may build your own team over time.
Your office will be located in Frankfurt.
Your Responsibilities:
- Own the full funnel paid media strategy for the German market – from concept to execution, across digital and traditional media channels.
- Plan and manage media budgets with a focus on performance, reach, and brand impact.
- Design and execute integrated campaigns across search, social, programmatic, video, DOOH, display, and more.
- Collaborate with central marketing teams in Europe and China to align messaging, creative assets, and campaign goals.
- Build relationships with external media agencies and partners, including evaluation and selection.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, create executive dashboards, and drive continuous optimization.
- As a perspective, contribute to the long-term media organization by recruiting, mentoring, and leading a growing paid media team in Germany.
- Represent the PR and paid media perspective in cross-functional discussions with brand, performance, and CRM colleagues.
Your Profile:
- University degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, digital campaign management, PR or comparable.
- Experience in automotive, mobility, tech, or premium consumer brands preferred
- Proven expertise in media strategy, channel mix design, and multi-platform execution.
- Strong understanding of the German media landscape (digital and offline) and consumer behavior.
- Sharp sense for the relevant target groups and how to reach those effectively via adequate media channels, events and more.
- Hands-on mentality with the ambition to build from scratch and scale up over time
- Analytical thinker with KPI-orientation and experience in attribution, tracking, and reporting.
- Fluency in German and English is required, additional languages are a plus.
- International mindset and willingness to work across cultures and time zones.
