If that excites you, how about joining our European Sales team as a Head of Sales, Europe West & South? Reporting to EU Chief Executive Officer and Group Chief Revenue Officer, you will focus on creating sustainable revenue growth, supported by top-grade sales execution.
This is initially a fully remote position, but we are specifically seeking someone based in France to help us build strong local foundations and serve as cornerstone for our future growth in the market.
You will be responsible for developing and executing the Europe West & South (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Mediterranean countries) sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will be directly responsible for originating sustainable new business opportunities and client prospects for ClearBank Europe, and achieving new client logo wins and revenue growth.
This role involves close collaboration with the CEO and the senior management team of ClearBank Europe, as well as the Group Chief Revenue Officer, to drive sales and success across your region. You will apply a leadership-level of expertise to the planning, creation and execution of growth and sales strategies. Decisions made will have a very high impact on the image, success and growth of ClearBank Europe.
In this position you will:
Devise and gain senior management approval for a sales plan, to include targets and KPIs, which drives the growth of ClearBank Europe in Europe West & South – positioning the company as a long-term business partner to potential clients, challenging the status quo and creating momentum for change.
Implement the approved sales plan to achieve short, medium and long-term revenue growth, as well as other KPIs.
Take the lead in sales campaigns and owning the end-to-end sales cycle – marshalling internal resources, driving consensus for change and negotiating client contracts to achieve business objectives and to maximize revenues.
Embed and manage world-class processes to provide a solid platform to support the growth of the company in Europe West & South – particularly to include sales processes (forecasting, pipeline management, territory management, account planning etc.).
Play a lead role in developing senior-level contacts on a multi-stakeholder basis in major clients, potential clients and partners to drive market traction.
Develop and manage the partner ecosystem to enhance ClearBank Europe’s sales effectiveness in Europe West & South.
Recommend pricing and sales strategies to the leadership team in order to maximise long-term value.
Contribute to the overall leadership of ClearBank Europe, working closely with cross-functional teams to support management of existing clients and to provide market feedback and input into the development pipeline of new products and services.
After initial success in building sales pipeline and winning new client contracts and as required by the business: build, develop, coach and lead a top-class Europe West & South sales team capable of driving the business forward, providing strong leadership and creating a positive and high-performing team culture.
What you’ll bring:
To excel in this role, you’ll also need:
B2B sales and client management experience in the Banking or Fintech sectors: You have extensive experience in successfully selling and managing high-value complex solutions to clients on a multi-stakeholder basis and over long sales cycles.
Sales strategy: You have experience of developing commercial strategies and plans to achieve revenue goals and KPIs.
International experience: Preferably you have extensive international experience gained elsewhere in Europe
Language skills: Excellent English and French skills. Fluency in another European language (such as Portuguese, Italian or Spanish languages) is a plus.

Our hiring process and what you can expect:
Application: a member of our talent acquisition team will review your application against the key requirements for the role and let you know within two weeks whether you’re moving forward to the next stage;
Screening: You’ll spend 30-45 minutes speaking to one of our recruiters learning more about the role and ClearBank, and we’ll get it know more about you, your experience and how your skills align with the role (this will be via phone or Teams video call). You can expect to hear back from us within seven days following this meeting (if things are taking longer than expected, we’ll let you know that too);
First Interview: You’ll spend one hour with a member of our hiring team focusing on your skills, competencies and your ways of working at the same time we’ll give you time to ask more questions about the role, the team and learn more about the ClearBank culture. This will be via Teams.
Second Interview: This will be a competency-based interview with one or more members of our team.
Final Stage: You will have a final meeting with the Head of Department. This will be around 45-60 minutes.
