Role
HR Business Partner to join our dynamic and passionate HR German local team, based at our Hamburg office. This strategic role will be instrumental in shaping and driving engagement, talent management, and organizational development across the Business Units within GBfoods Europe. The selected candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and their teams, contributing to the evolution of our people strategy and supporting key transformation initiatives aligned with business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for managers and employees within the Business Unit.
- Provide comprehensive HR support across all personnel-related matters.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Partner with the works council on all personnel and labor relations topics.
- Continuously review, optimize, and manage HR processes, including cross-functional initiatives.
- Drive and support cross-departmental strategic projects.
- Lead the execution and implementation of both operational and strategic HR projects.
- Collaborate with external HR service providers to ensure high-quality support.
- Prepare and deliver ad-hoc HR analytics and key performance indicator reports.
Projects and process support
- Engagement Plan Europe, with actions across local HR.
- Workplace channel, with a compelling communication strategy.
- Specific projects on talents for Germany and Europe.
- DEI activities.
- Continuous improvement and process standardization projects.
Requirements
- Several years of relevant experience in Human Resources, ideally in a fully integrated company within an industrial environment; international experience is a plus.
- Good knowledge of labor law.
- Excellent MS Office skills; ideally experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Strong communication skills.
- Independent and structured working style.
