We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to serve as the primary interface with German authorities  for all Health, Safety, and Environment matters. This role requires deep knowledge of German safety regulations, proven competency in occupational safety (SiFA), and certified expertise as a Fire Protection Officer. 
Duties and Responsibilities  
- Develop site and operations-specific HSE programs (e.g., HSE Plan in accordance with IOGP Guidelines) ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and best international practices. 
 - Submit HSE statistics to Corporate HSE in a timely manner. 
 - Monitor effective implementation of HSE policies, project HSE plans, and approved procedures. 
 - Provide direct HSE support to the construction team and monitor subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements. 
 - Develop and implement HSE performance improvement programs. 
 - Maintain and update the legal register, ensuring implementation of all relevant HSE legal requirements. 
 - Ensure legal compliance in all project activities, including environmental protection measures when applicable. 
 - Lead incident investigations and ensure thorough documentation. 
 - Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections. 
 - Enforce Life Saving Rules throughout the project. 
 - Implement risk assessments, job safety analyses, and ensure Permit-to-Work (PTW) consistency. 
  
Must-Have Requirements  
- Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken).  
 - Engineering background with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in HSE roles, preferably in oil and gas or industrial projects. 
 - Strong knowledge of German HSE legislation and authority processes. 
 - Desired: Internationally recognized HSE qualification (BSC, NEBOSH, or equivalent).  
 - Desired: Experience working in multinational project environments.
