HSSE Manager (m/w/d) - Solarpark Wilhelmshaven

We are currently looking for an HSSE Consultant (m/f/d) for a solar park project.

Project Details

• Start Date:
• End Date: (+6 months extension option)
• Volume: 16 hrs/week
• Location: 10 hrs/week onsite in Wilhelmshaven; rest remote (depending on project schedule)

Setup

• 2 days per week for onboarding, training, kick-off meetings, and reviewing construction plans with EPC and client (initially remote, with some site visits in Dusseldorf, Berlin, or Wilhelmshaven)
• From October 2025 to February/March 2026, at least 2 days per week onsite to coordinate with EPC and Site Manager

Project Description

The project involves constructing an 18 MW solar park on the former Wilhelmshaven power station ash piles, connecting to the electricity network by March 2026.

Responsibilities

• Analyze EPC HSSE plans and risk assessments for suitability and compliance with permits, contractual, and legal requirements
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with permits, contracts, and legal regulations
• Document deviations and present findings to EPC and client representatives for decision-making
• Process HSSE performance reports weekly and monthly, providing feedback for improvement
• Consult with internal asset owners to ensure EPC compliance with site requirements
• Review and process EPC monthly reports into client systems for project status updates
• Coordinate with the Renewables team and project management to achieve project objectives

Skills and Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of German and state HSSE legislation related to construction and high voltage electrical work
• Fluent in English and German
• Knowledge of SIGEKO qualification
• Experience in solar construction, EPC, client representation, or similar industries
