As we continue to expand our operations in Europe, we are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in Oberhausen, Germany. In this role, you will help shape and execute people strategies that support JD.com’s growth ambitions in the European logistics sector.


Role Overview:

As the HRBP based in Oberhausen, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and management teams within JD.com’s logistics division. You will be responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, driving talent development, and fostering a high-performance culture. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to JD.com’s success in a dynamic and evolving market while supporting our growing German and European operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with logistics leadership to understand business priorities and deliver strategic HR support that enhances organizational performance.
  • Lead talent management processes, including performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to address key talent needs within JD.com’s logistics operations in Germany.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive work environment and resolving performance or conduct issues in accordance with local regulations.
  • Support organizational change and transformation initiatives in line with JD.com’s global vision.
  • Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and HR policies, ensuring full compliance with German labor laws.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive continuous improvement in HR programs and processes.
  • Promote employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion efforts to strengthen JD.com’s workplace culture.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or a related industrial sector.
  • Full professional proficiency in both German and English is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the logistics or supply chain industry, including its operational challenges and talent demands.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performance management, talent development, employee relations, and organizational design.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with German labor law and HR best practices is required.
