Tasks

  • Lead and coach a team of People Business Partners (ca.4), providing guidance across all HR horizontals
  • Partner with the Head of People Operations and business leaders to drive strategic workforce planning and people priorities
  • Ensure smooth HR operations & compliance with local labor laws & employment regulations
  • Manage HR systems & processes to streamline operations & continuously improve employee experiences
  • Lead complex employee relations cases, providing expert guidance to managers and HRBPs
  • Oversee compensation and benefits strategy in alignment with market trends and company philosophy
  • Ensure People Operations metrics and insights support data-driven decision making across the team
  • Collate & align HR topics with the Lufthansa Group functions

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior expert or leadership capacity.
  • Deep understanding of employment law, labor relations, and conflict resolution
  • Proven experience in advising leaders and managing complex employee relations topics
  • Strong HR generalist background with expertise in at least one of the core horizontal areas (e.g., rewards, systems, or policies)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in HR technology systems and an analytical mindset
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on operational delivery
  • Collaborative leader who inspires trust & drives change
  • Proven track record of leading HR strategies
  • Very good command of English language, German is a plus
