Introduction

Existing App & Stack
We have an existing React Native app that's currently only used as a web app (Expo Web). This is our stack:
• React Native 0.76.7
• Expo SDK 52
• New Architecture
• Expo Web
• Reanimated
• Unistyles v2
• React Native Skia
• Turborepo Monorepo (pnpm)


Project Description
We have redesigned a few UI components and have added a gradient border to some of them. Please see the attached screenshots.
Your job is to implement the UI for these components including the gradient borders. Please be aware that React Native does not have a gradient border feature by default. Additionally, the borders need to be animated per state (inactive, hover, focused).


Requirements
You may use any way of accomplishing this, as long as:
• You write clean code
• The borders are pixel-perfect based on the Figma design you'll be provided
• The borders are correctly animated per state (inactive, hover, focused)
• The solution is performant and doesn't drop FPS


Optimal Solution
Optimally, you'll write a shared component that'll take a child component and automatically renders a gradient border around it. In that case, you wouldn't have to implement it for *all* components – one component as a proof-of-concept would be enough.
