In House Lawyer (Part-time)

Grow with us! We are currently looking for a colleague to join our Alternative Investments Legal Team that is a part of our Legal Fund Governance Department. We are responsible for all legal challenges in connection with the set up and ongoing administration of German alternative investment funds (AIF).

Your tasks and responsibilities :

• Legal advice on the structuring and set up of German alternative Investment funds (such as real estate, infrastructure, private equity) including fund documentation
• Legal support for alternative asset transactions (including financing) in German investment funds as well as in Luxembourg alternative investments funds via asset or share deals
• Negotiation of and advising on onboarding agreements with fund service providers
• Development and maintenance of fund-related sample documents
• Legal advice to the management and the business areas within AI Legal’s responsibility for alternative asset funds
• Support in fund-related legal disputes
• Monitoring of legal and regulatory changes with regard to investment funds or fund managers’ legal framework

Your skills and experience :

• Fully qualified lawyer with at least two satisfactory exams
• Business fluent English and German language skills
• Professional knowledge of investment law aspects would be an asset
• Professional experience in the advising of real estate or infrastructure transactions or M&A-transactions would be an advantage
