Income Tax Consultant

On the way to fully digital tax functions, we support companies of all sizes and industries with software solutions and tax consulting services. As a Consultant in our Tax team , you will work at the interface between tax laws and tax technology.

What you'll do

1. Tax Tech - In the rapidly growing Tax Tech segment, you will collaborate with tax and IT experts on transforming tax law requirements for our GlobalTaxCenter software. You will help develop tax expert systems by translating tax laws, BMF letters, or accounting regulations (HGB, IFRS) into programming specifications. You will support and actively contribute to the ongoing development of our software.
2. Implementation projects - You will participate in challenging implementation projects, supporting tax departments with the technical deployment of our software, tax CMS, and ICS consulting projects.
3. Training and committee work - We keep our customers informed via webinars and training courses. You will create seminar materials and conduct training sessions. Additionally, participating in external tax expert groups will enrich your daily work.

What you bring to the table

• Tax knowledge - Understanding of current acts and processes and their impact on the German Tax Technology space (ESSENTIAL)
• Analytical skills - Ability to analyze tax issues precisely (ESSENTIAL)
• Teamwork and communication - Enjoy working with tax laws, a persistent work ethic, and strong communication skills in German & English (C1+) (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience in income tax is advantageous but not mandatory; university-level tax knowledge is also valued.
• Open-minded, positive, critical thinker, motivated, proactive, extroverted, solutions-focused.
• Basic affinity for IT; programming skills are not required but appreciated.
• High sense of responsibility, organized, and independent work style.
