Information Governance & Compliance Engineer (f/m/x)

Your new Role

• Architect and optimize access management processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and permission assignments, using tools like OKTA (Lifecycle Management, Identity Governance, and Workflows).
• Develop and enforce policies for identity and access management, as well as change management processes for self-developed and SaaS applications and services.
• Work closely with software development teams on their identity and access solutions for internal and public applications. You act as an internal consultant that challenges and supports them.
• Support external audits (e.g., with one of “The Big Four”) and respond to compliance questionnaires from partners, including automotive OEMs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Act as a subject matter expert for identity and access management, designing new workflows and solutions to support a dynamic and evolving business environment that meets compliance and legal requirements.

Your Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP Clouds
• Proficiency in OKTA as a Cloud Identity Provider, including Lifecycle Management, Identity Governance, and Workflows.
• Strong knowledge of authentication, application permissions, and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience in developing and enforcing policies related to access management and change management.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
• Proven ability to support external audits and respond to compliance questionnaires.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Go to automate workflows.
• Familiarity with encryption technologies, cryptography, and key management.
• Proficiency in English. German is not required, but it is a plus.
