Position Overview

We are looking for a Lab Engineer for injection molding (m/f/d) to strengthen our team in Frankfurt as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of samples and material pre-drying for injection molding experiments.
• Checking the connected lines (Air, Electricity, Water) for injection molding experiments.
• Execution of injection molding experiments for various materials (e.g., ABS, PO, EP).
• Responsible processing of test requests in the laboratory.
• Operation of injection molding machine & data evaluation and backup.
• Maintenance of injection molding machine for continuous use.
• Documentation of test results in German and English.
• Participation in the optimization and improvement of laboratory workflows.
• Participation in global, multidisciplinary project meetings.

Experience and Competencies

• Successfully completed training as an injection molding or polymer processing engineer.
• Working experience at an injection molding company or mold maker preferred.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge in injection molding processes & mold design.
• Enjoyment of technology as well as commitment and creativity.
• Ability to work in a team as a communicative and engaging personality who carries out tasks with great commitment, enthusiasm and vision.
• Good MS Office skills as well as written and spoken English.
