Insurance Accountant P&C (m/f/x)

Overview

Your central role:

• You are responsible for coordinating and preparing the technical annual and quarterly financial statements, as well as the forecasts and planning according to IFRS17 and Solvency II in the P&C segment
• You prepare the supplied data for the IFRS17/Solvency II IT landscape and ensure their plausibility and quality
• You conduct balance sheet and actuarial cash flow analyses, create insurance technical notes, and comment on the key performance drivers. Additionally, you are responsible for the professional further development and maintenance of the IT systems (especially SAP FPSL) in close coordination with MunichRE
• You are the point of contact for technical insurance questions, particularly for auditors, and maintain communication with other departments and subsidiaries of ERGO Group AG in the Non-Life segment

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a university degree in (business) mathematics, in economics with a quantitative focus, or in a comparable area
• You have several years of professional experience in an auditing, consulting, or (re)insurance company with a focus on insurance accounting (IFRS)
• Experience in the actuarial field, as well as programming skills and database know-how, are advantageous
• You have a systematic work approach, strong analytical thinking skills, a sense of responsibility, commitment, and work independently
• You demonstrate strong social competence and confidence, along with good communication skills in both German and English
