For temporary employment of 12 months Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a
Intern (f/m/d) Payload System Engineer- January 2026

Your Tasks

Handle customer requirements in connection with actual missions
You will work across all payload-related aspects (technical specs, safety, interface)
Generation of requirements for the RFA technical teams
Trans-sectoral coordination of mission activities

Your Qualifications

Student in space engineering or related topics
Initial experience in systems engineering
Knowledge of common standards (like ECSS)
Structured work style with good analytic skills
Communication and team skills
Independent mode of operation in a goal and result-oriented manner
Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
