Intern - Virtualization Research Engineer (m/f/d)

Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

The size of our Cloud platform is gaining momentum and it is already planet scale. Huawei Cloud is one of the largest and fastest-growing platforms in the world. Your mission

Work with the team of researchers and engineers in developing next generation virtualization technologies
Read and analyze research publications
Implement software prototype based on the current research
Prepare technical reports for publications and conference talks
Create relevant test suites to benchmark performance against other state of the art
Document and present your work to the relevant stakeholders.

Your areas of expertise

BSc/Master or PhD in computer science or other related disciplines
Familiar with operating system internals and virtualization technologies
Excellent programming skill in at least on of the languages: C, C++, Rust, Python, Go
Practical knowledge of software engineering methods and design - was involved in a software development project and was in touch with SDKs, CIs, version control
Strong self-motivation, able to work independently and deal well with change and ambiguity
Creative, collaborative, & product focused
Fluent in written and spoken English
