Hartmann Young has partnered with a global medical diagnostics company is seeking an International Sales Manager to develop and execute regional business plans, drive revenue growth, and manage product portfolio targets within operational budget limits. The role involves building and managing distribution channels, monitoring market activities, and supporting both new and existing distributors through regular business reviews, in-country sales training, and strategic leadership.
You will position the company’s unique product value to distributors, their key customers, and collaborate with the Medical and Scientific Affairs team to support local Key Opinion Leaders. Additional responsibilities include conducting market and competitive research, preparing business plans for both new and underperforming products, and ensuring all sales and operational processes meet company standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage international distributors in the Africa/Russia/CIS region.
 
- Ensure distributors maximise their sales, promotion, and support efforts to meet established targets.
 
- Train regional dealer sales teams in effective sales presentations and standardised processes.
 
- Adapt corporate marketing materials for local markets and provide guidance on bid/tender preparation.
 
- Develop and renew distributor agreements, ensuring annual quotas and forecasts are met or exceeded.
 
- Maintain accurate sales reporting through CRM and business intelligence tools.
 
- Collaborate with global sales, marketing, technical, finance, and training teams to optimise regional performance.
 
- Support onboarding of new distributor personnel and identification of regional/country KOLs.
 
 
Requirements
- Energetic, self-motivated professional with strong verbal and written communication skills.
 
- Background in diagnostic or clinical sales.
 
- Willingness to travel 70%+ of the time on extended trips (1-2 weeks).
 
- Experience in POC testing.
 
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
 
- Minimum BA in Science, or Clinical Laboratory Medicine.
 
- 10+ years of sales experience in the medical diagnostics industry, including 3+ years in international distributor management.
 
- Proven track record of sales growth and career advancement.
