As part of the protocol team, you’ll work at the lowest levels of the stack to solve complex distributed systems problems and build secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain protocols. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement improvements to blockchain protocol layers (networking, consensus, state management, etc.)Develop new protocol features in languages such as Rust, Go, or C++Collaborate with cryptographers and researchers to implement cutting-edge consensus algorithmsOptimize protocol performance for scalability, security, and decentralizationConduct rigorous testing and simulation of protocol upgrades or forksReview and audit peer code to ensure high standards of quality and security RequirementsStrong experience in systems-level programming (Rust, Go, or C++)Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, or consensus protocolsFamiliarity with blockchain architecture and peer-to-peer networkingExperience working on complex codebases or protocol-level projectsAbility to write clean, efficient, and well-documented codeComfortable working in an async-first, remote team environment
