Role Overview

Position: Hedge Fund Expert – Contract, Remote
Commitment: At least 10 hours per week, Duration: Minimum four weeks
Join a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab. Contribute your expertise in hedge funds to advance AI research.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and AI-generated content for accuracy and depth in hedge fund domains.
• Review market sizing, TAM analysis, and investment research to ensure alignment with domain-specific principles.
• Provide detailed feedback to AI research teams to improve the accuracy of model outputs in financial contexts.
• Develop evaluation rubrics to assess the quality of AI-generated financial tasks and solutions.
• Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and domain relevance in training data.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to the continuous improvement of AI model performance.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in top hedge funds
• Experience in financial modeling, market sizing/TAM analysis, investment/analysis research, or earnings predictions and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI model evaluation in financial domains
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Engagement Details

Compensation: $130/hour, with potential increases for top performers
Schedule: Flexible, fully asynchronous
Duration: Minimum four weeks, starting in October
Contract Type: At-will contractor
Location: Remote, based in U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/Australia
