Investment Associate

Overview
Our client, a leading private equity firm based in Munich, is seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate with 1–4 years of relevant experience. The firm focuses on growth-oriented investments in mid-sized companies across the DACH region, with a strong emphasis on business services, technology, and consumer sectors.

Known for its entrepreneurial mindset and operationally driven approach, the team partners closely with management teams to scale businesses and unlock long-term value. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly professional yet down-to-earth investment team with a strong reputation in the market.

What You’ll Do

• Support all phases of the investment cycle, including market analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, and deal execution
• Contribute to the development of investment theses and identification of attractive target companies
• Collaborate directly with senior investment professionals and portfolio company management on strategic value creation initiatives
• Prepare materials for investment committees, internal reviews, and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, or a similar high-performance environment (private equity or M&A exposure is a plus)
• Strong analytical thinking and financial modeling capabilities
• Independent, entrepreneurial work style with a hands-on mentality
• Fluent in German and English (both required)
