IT Administrator Part-time (m/f/d)

Location: Dortmund (with remote work option)

Employment: Part-time, 20 hours/week

We are a growing technology company that develops innovative simulation tools to digitize the process industry and help shape a sustainable future. We are looking for an IT administrator (m/f/d) to play a central role in designing our technical infrastructure as we build and further develop our IT.

Your task: Support for central IT topics

• Infrastructure and networks: Maintenance of office servers (primarily Windows, perspectively Linux), the network (routers, switches, VPN), and cloud services (Microsoft 365).
• Security: Maintenance and monitoring of IT security, including patch management and certificate management.
• IT operations: Management of end devices (laptops, accessories) and software solutions, IT support for our innovative customer solutions.
• Projects and further development: Introduction of new technologies and processes that make IT operations more efficient and future-proof.
• Support and collaboration: Supporting employees with technical questions, as well as coordination and cooperation with the IT of our group of companies.

You don’t have to be an expert in all areas right away. It is much more important to us that you have technical understanding, curiosity, and the will to work on new topics. We support you in finding the right solution for your needs.

Your profile

• Completed apprenticeship in the IT field or a related degree – or comparable practical experience
• Multi-year experience in IT administration, preferably in a technological environment
• Knowledge of networks, server operation (Windows, Linux), and cloud technologies (Microsoft 365)
• Proactivity, teamwork, and a structured approach to work
• Interest in new technologies and a passion for optimizing processes
