Overview

Proteros Biostructures GmbH is seeking an Information Technology Lead to execute and further develop the IT roadmap in close collaboration with senior leadership.

Your mission

Execute and further develop Proteros’ IT roadmap in close collaboration with senior leadership
Manage and optimize our hybrid cloud and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure (e.g., AWS)
Select, implement, and support laboratory and enterprise systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN, ERP)
Design and maintain efficient data workflows and pipelines to support AI/ML applications
Oversee external IT service providers and vendors, including contract management, cost control, and service-level agreements (SLAs)
Ensure IT security, maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS), and support compliance with ISO 27001
Standardize, document, and continuously improve IT processes across departments

Your profile

At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and system integration
Strategic mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented working style
Knowledge of lab IT (e.g. LIMS), enterprise IT (e.g. ERP), data architecture, and information security compliance (e.g. process documentation such as Business Continuity Plans)
Experience managing external partners and internal stakeholders, acting as a representative of the company
Fluent in English; German is a plus
Experience in life sciences or research-driven environments is an advantage
