Technical Infrastructure (TI) acts as an internal service provider at DLR. As part of TI, Facility Management (FM) builds and operates DLR buildings and facilities, making a valuable contribution to efficient and productive research operations and thus to DLR's scientific success. Technical Facility Management (TFM) as part of FM at the sites in the southern region (Oberpfaffenhofen, Augsburg, Weilheim) supports the scientific, often unique, highly complex large-scale test facilities such as the Space Operations Center.

Your tasks

• Technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of the telecommunications and IT infrastructure at the Oberpfaffenhofen site
• Selection, setup and support of presentation and communication systems (audio and video systems)
• On-call service to ensure the functionality of the systems

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable relevant field for the job
• Proven professional experience in a comparable working environment
• Experience in administration of Linux and Windows systems as well as virtualization environments
• Practical experience in the installation of network cables and fiber optic cables according to DIN VDE as well as RDT cabinets
• Practical experience in the field of telecommunications
• Willingness to be on call

Depending on qualifications and tasks assigned, remuneration will be up to pay group 9a TVöD.
