Job Summary

At Boston Scientific, we’re looking for a highly motivated IT Business Operations Lead to be the driving force behind IT operations at our Düsseldorf site. This hands‑on leadership role ensures that IT is both a reliable enabler and a trusted partner for the business, coordinating a small IT team and translating business needs into practical IT solutions that support the company’s growth over the coming years.

Your Role

As the IT Business Operations Lead, you’ll be the primary IT point of contact for the Düsseldorf office, connecting the needs of the business with our global IT standards. You’ll oversee day‑to‑day IT operations, from infrastructure and end‑user support to AV systems and software platforms, while coordinating workflows, implementing process improvements, and driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations, covering infrastructure, end‑user support, AV systems, and software platforms.
• Coordinate workloads within the team, implement process improvements, and drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
• Act as a strategic partner, anticipating evolving IT requirements; provide technology recommendations, plan for future capacity, and support adoption of new systems or tools.
• Collaborate with vendors and manage local budgets to ensure resources are used effectively.

The Person We Are Looking For

• Strong technical expertise across infrastructure, Microsoft 365, networking, AV systems, and end‑user support.
• Experience in site IT coordination, service management, or operations leadership is highly valued; formal team management experience is a nice to have.
• Fluency in German and English is essential.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to guide a small team and divide tasks effectively.
• Experience with ITIL frameworks or certification.
• Background in global or fast‑paced organizations.
