A Global IT company is currently recruiting an IT Systems Engineer to work in their Düsseldorf office. They can consider visa sponsorship for the candidate with the right experience. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customers receive exactly the service they need to meet their expectations, involving both technical expertise and people skills.The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in systems engineering, effective troubleshooting skills, and good project management abilities.Knowledge of Japanese or German language will be advantageous

TYPE: Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Fulltime (40 hrs/week)
SALARY: €40–65k depending on experience
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Düsseldorf (Germany) * Hybrid working up to 3 days a week

IT Systems Engineer Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure customers receive the service they need to meet their expectations
• Apply considerable SE experience for building, maintaining, and revising servers and security applications
• Prepare hardware for projects
• Plan and launch projects while providing advisory support
• Troubleshoot issues effectively for customers
• Support the sales team with technical expertise
• Create effective documentation
• Implement successful and sustainable solutions

IT Systems Engineer Ideal Candidate:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer
• Knowledge of: Server architectures (Cloud Virtualization Environment, Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V/Xen), Networking (Firewalls, routers, etc.)
• Security applications (SD-WAN, Zero Trust solutions)
• Expertise in hardware (Dell, Fujitsu, HP), TCP/IP and cloud services, Data security certifications, Network settings (CCNA), Backup technologies
• Experience as a Project Manager
• Business level fluency in English
• Knowledge of Japanese or German language will be advantageous
