IT Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Our client is looking for a System Engineer to join a Japanese IT company based in Düsseldorf.

Design, construction, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of server, network, and security applications
Preparation and installation of hardware
Project management and promotion, as well as providing technical advice
Customer support through problem-solving (troubleshooting)
Communication with customers (coordination, progress management, and reporting)
Technical proposal support for the sales team
System operation and maintenance
Documentation related to the above tasks (using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
Design and construction of LAN systems
Maintenance of PC-LAN systems
Configuration, installation, and connectivity testing of CE equipment related to Internet and network services

Work experience as a System Engineer (5+ years preferred)
Broad knowledge and experience in the following areas :(
- Server architecture (cloud/virtual environments, Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V/Xen)
- Networking (firewalls, routers, etc.)
- Security applications (SD-WAN, Zero Trust solutions, etc.)
- Hardware (Dell, Fujitsu, HP, etc.)
- Technical skills : TCP/IP, cloud services, Windows, data security, authentication, network configuration (CCNA), backup technologies
)
Business-level English proficiency is required
German or Japanese language skills are a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent client support
Proactive and self-motivated attitude
Strong teamwork skills
