Java 8 & Angular 8 Developer - Remote Contract Position

Position Overview
1 Year contract
EU Citizenship required

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team on a remote contract basis. This is a 12-month contract opportunity for a skilled developer with expertise in Java 8 and Angular 8 technologies.



Contract Details
• Position Type: Remote Contract
• Duration: 12 months
• Daily Rate: €320 per day
• Location: Fully Remote (European timezone preferred)
• Start Date: Immediate availability preferred



Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain web applications using Java 8 and Angular 8
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Work with databases and data integration
• Follow best practices for software development lifecycle



Required Technical Skills
Backend Development
• Java 8+ - Strong proficiency with modern Java features (Lambda expressions, Streams, Optional, etc.)
• Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
• RESTful API design and development
• Database technologies (SQL, JPA/Hibernate)
• Maven or Gradle build tools
• Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)

Frontend Development
• Angular 8 - Comprehensive knowledge of Angular framework
• TypeScript and ES6+
• HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS
• RxJS and reactive programming
• Angular CLI and build tools
• Component-based architecture
• State management (NgRx preferred)

General Requirements
• Git version control
• Docker containerization knowledge
• CI/CD pipelines experience
• Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Linux/Unix environments



Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience with Java development
• 2+ years of experience with Angular
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Database design and optimization experience
• Experience with testing frameworks and TDD
• Familiarity with DevOps practices
